After several weeks of anticipation, the Soundcity MVP Awards 2019 returns for its third edition with full of glamour, glitz, and excitement at the prestigious Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Soundcity MVP Awards 2019 had over 20-Million viewers across the continent of Africa, as sensational Nigerian Afro-Fusion music superstar Damini Ogulu with stage name Burna Boy and most loved artiste of the moment Teniola was the star of the award gala night.

The ” Ye ” crooner Burna Boy steal the night with the highly coveted “Africa Artist of the Year” while Davido and Wizkid got one award each.

Listener choice award winner - Burna | YE
Best male MVP award winner - Burna boy
Song of the year - Burna boy | YE

Sensational artiste of the moment Teniola wins the "Best New Act” category ahead of Peruzzi, while Patoranking's "Heal the World" went home with the “Video of the Year” award.

The Producer of the year went to Phantom the producer of Burna boy's YE
